City Host's Appreciation Reception for Flood Volunteers
During recent flooding in Portales, the Eastern New Mexico Football
Team volunteered to help the community. With their help, sandbags
were filled to provide to the citizens, to prevent their homes from
flooding. The First Baptist Church also helped by providing a meal
for the football players that were filling sandbags. Thank you to
both groups for their efforts and community pride.
