These containers are picked up on a once a week basis. All 801 housing residents use polycarts and they are picked up on Thursdays. For any solid waste that won’t go in the dumpster, there are two options. For tree limbs, couches and large items that are placed beside the dumpster, the City will pick them up with a side boom truck. This truck runs the whole city on a route.
